Chocolate spoons

Chocolate spoons are a lovely gift for others, but also great with your after-dinner drink. Dip your chocolate spoons in hot milk and add your chosen topping.

Ingredients

50 g dark chocolate
60 g cocoa powder
100 ml cream
95 g Dansukker Light Muscovado Sugar
1 tsp Dansukker Vanilla Sugar

1 cup
1 chocolate spoon
200 ml milk

Optional decoration
Whipped cream
Marshmallows
Chocolate buttons
Dansukker Organic Light Syrup
Ground cardamom/cinnamon/cocoa

Instructions

Chop the chocolate and melt over a water bath. Mix cocoa, cream, sugar and vanilla sugar to a bowl and add the melted chocolate. Stir until smooth and place in the refrigerator to cool.

Remove the batter when it has set and place a layer on each tablespoon. Spread the batter into a smooth layer on the spoon. Store in the refrigerator.

Bring about 200 ml of milk to the boil, and dip the chocolate spoon into the milk and stir.

Top with the decoration of your choice.
